Masculine Challenge OWH

Here is my "Masculine Challenge" Card.....
I used all SU paper on this...Creamy Cocoa, Sage Shadow and Always Artichoke, the stamp set is a retired SU set "Be Happy", and the cord is from my stash.

Sketch Challenge # 20

Here is my version of the #20 Sketch challenge for OWH. I used a Kraft brown base, Cosmo Cricket patterned paper and Rich Razzelberry. The "Deee-lish" is from my my dollar stamp stash and the oval color is an unk color, sorry from my scrap stash. That is cord wrapped twice around and tied in a knot. The gems, by the knot are hearts and then I also added one circle to dot the i.

I did go pinwheel crazy!!

Yes I know I went alittle crazy with the pinwheels....
The summer one was just too big. That is a 6X6 piece and the pinwheels for the miss you are 3X3, I think....
Someone will like them anyway...haha, even with the sizing issues, right??

Here are two hello cards I have for OWH..... Again a masculine and a feminine. I just used stuff from my stash on these. I wanted to try the SU hodgepodge frames out.

I do try and do a feminine and masculine version to my cards..... I am sorry these photos are dark. My new craft room still needs more lights. On the left this one is in lavenders and pinks. The one on the right is in greens. I free handed the pocket, I know its not perfect but I like it that way.

Ohhh another Hero Card....

Here is another Hero Card.... This one is on Night of Navy (yes its lined with white). I used my Cricut to cut the Fence (In PPDU set at 3 1/4-on my expression-...you will get 2 4 slat sections). Inked the fence with distressing ink....the pinwheel is SU double sided from Cheryl's stash (Thank you!!) That is cut 2X2. The Star brad in the middle is from Spare Parts. And finally the 'United We Stand' is from Tammy's collection (Thank You!!) it is a Archiver's Exclusive Stampendous from last year('09).

New Hero Cards.......

I went to a class a few weeks ago......"The Little Black Dress" Loved it....and was inspired to try this.
I used a star cookie cutter for the template and I had this red white and blue ribbon in my stash. GO FIGURE!! haha....I picked my three corners and just keep going around to fill it in... I used craft paper (brown) and Night of Navy for the next layer and of course Real Red for the card base. Oh and finally the star embellishments were from Joann's, I think. I need to get more!! Already....

Okay...so I know the picture is less then good, but.....soo cute of a card for a 1st time mommy.

Rebel Challenge #8

Okay Sandy you got it....
Alcohol ink used here on metal sheet from QuicKutz. I put it in my "purse" using a cuttlebug embossing folder with stars and then used red pepper and Oregano colored Tim Holtz ink. The paper stars are just cut from my stash and the stamped sent is Stampin Up.

was not sure which picture you would be able to see better....so I posted both. I have been working this one out in my head for over a week....I would say it turned out pretty good.



And I tried to make them non gender specific. I used that butterfly paper for my wedding albums that I gave as gifts....again recycling...YEAH!!

Challenge #6....hummm Love flowers....and this is my favorite Flower stamp set..Stampin Up "Friends are like Flowers". And purple is always my go to color. Sorry I guess that can start to get boring...

I am sorry, this is the best I could get the picture. Can you tell I have been making hero cards lately?? haha. Along the top in red it says Thank you (SU set). Even the white card stock was a large scrap from something else....the red and blue were from my new hero cards....I have not listed them here yet.....even the ribbon is the last of a spool.

Thursday, April 8 is our next OWH meeting day.....

To my hero...... These screen doors are awesome cards...I will post the dimensions later today. Thanks to my card club friends for SUCH A GREAT IDEA that they shared last year. I have made cards for Autumn, Winter and working on Spring now. But my red, white and blue for my HEROS are my favorite I think.

Flower challenge ...I did this card for Mothers Day. Some flowers stashed, some flowers cut out Neg from bigger flowers.....and yes I used my Cricut.

Here is my version of this weeks challenge....I love my cricut! This is on navy card stock with two patterned blue paper. I added the "road" in the middle instead of ribbon. The car was used instead of a punch. Hope you like it.
